Promoting health, education and culture.
We are a family-run organization that strives to contribute to make health, education, and community development initiatives available to the people of Northern Guatemala. In our efforts, we hope to learn from the enriching culture, and promote to sustain it.

Dr. Hugo Coronado heads the non-profit organization along with many members of his family. The association has been providing Healthcare along with education resources and water systems in the northern part of rural Guatemala. Dr. Coronado was born and raised in Coban, Alta Verapaz, Guatemala. This area of the country is 6 hrs north of the capital city of Guatemala. The people in this region have a dire need for healthcare. The low resources and education accesibility in this part of the country has led to many healthcare issues in the population including, malnutrition, systemic disease, poor oral care, and low level of education. Along with the members of the family, the University of San Carlos de Guatemala, donors, friends, and many volunteers, Dr. Coronado organizes service missions to different communities in the area every year.

Pictured is MVAs rain water captation system. This system has been built in 6 different school houses in the area and each system provides the community with portable drinking water year round. The efforts of bringing a basic necessity like water include many volunteers and friends who willingly give of their time, knowledge and donations.
